Aurora Entertainment Partners (AEP) is leading a consortium to revive Wits University FC, a historic football club founded over 100 years ago and associated with the University of the Witwatersrand.
The club has been inactive for several years, but its revival presents a unique opportunity to create one of the most innovative and financially sustainable football institutions in Africa.
We are exploring a strategic partnership with WesBank/FirstRand to support the club’s return to professional football ahead of the 2026/2027 season, while building a long-term commercial ecosystem around sport, financial services, and fan engagement.
